Dolph Ziggler Thought He Was Fired After Famous WWE Raw Segment

Dolph Ziggler is undoubtedly one of the best workers in WWE and goes out of his way to make his opponents look good in the process. Before making a name for himself as a singles star, Dolph Ziggler was part of the Spirit Squad.

The Spirit Squad made their WWE debut in 2005 before disbanding the next year. The group feuded with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and Triple H when they were D-Generation-X.

A fan asked Dolph Ziggler if he knew Ziggler would become a singles star while being part of the Spirit Squad. Ziggler saw the fans question and replied to it by revealing that he thought when they were stuffed into a box by D-Generation-X and taken off WWE television, his career was over.

Thankfully, Ziggler wasn’t actually fired and he went on to have a solid singles career that also included two World Title reigns and several Intercontinental Title reigns. We will have to see whether Dolph Ziggler will have another main event ru in the company eventually.
