WWE Network is officially shutting down for American fans. Their accounts will be closed out, but a refund could be coming their way.

The company published a little Q&A about what will happen to fans’ accounts upon closing. This included information about refunds. They will give prorated refunds to fans, and those who use gift cards will be able to exchange the remaining balance with more than 300 options.

Once I lose access to WWE Network, will I get a credit for the remaining balance on my account?

Yes. We will credit the portion of your subscription that cannot be used after the WWE network standalone app sunsets in the United States.

* For Gift Card subscribers, this will come in the form of an exchange program where you’ll be able to choose from among 300+ gift cards.
* For Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal subscribers, credit will be applied to the same payment method that was billed.
* For Apple or Roku subscribers, credit will applied back to your Apple or Roku account

The WWE Network closing their doors will open up a new platform on Peacock. There are also a lot of potential new fans already using the Peacock streaming service. We’ll have to see how smooth this transition is, but it’s set to start on March 18th with the WWE Network finally closing on April 5th.
