HUGE Spoiler For WWE SmackDown This Week

WWE taped their Christmas Day episode of Friday Night SmackDown days before the show aired. The main event of the night saw Big E challenge Sami Zayn for the IC Title in a Lumberjack Match. It was a very Merry Christmas for Big E.

This match was a Lumberjack Match. That stipulation came in handy near the end. Zayn tried to run off, but they all carried him back to the ring. Then Big E hit a Big Ending and won the IC Title.

This marks Big E’s second run as IC Champion. His first run with the title was in 2013.

Big E was split apart from Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods during the WWE Draft. The New Day might be split up, but they were never officially broken up. Big E did introduce new music by Wale recently to replace his New Day entrance.
