Storyline Occupying Time On WWE SmackDown Until Seth Rollins’ Return

Seth Rollins was written out of the WWE storyline at Survivor Series. The Messiah Sacrificed himself to a Brogue Kick which eliminated him from the men’s match. He’ll be back, and WWE has something in store to keep things ready for his return.

Murphy started a feud with King Corbin this week. Corbin was originally set to have a match against Otis, but Jey Uso took Otis out with a chair. Things escalated backstage with Corbin and Murphy stepped up to face him.

The Mysterios actually pulled off a little bit of a heel move to get one over on Corbin. It’s likely not a heel turn because Vince McMahon thinks babyfaces can cheat as long as it’s against an established heel like Corbin.

We’ll have to see how long Corbin and Murphy continue their feud. Corbin and Murphy will face each other in a rematch next week.

The last we heard, Rollins is expected back some time in January.
