The intrigue for Blood & Guts, aka All Elite Wrestling’s version of WarGames, continues to build with each and every passing week.

There’s a real fascination behind how the promotion is going to do their version of the match in comparison to WWE’s, and while that may not be particularly relevant for a lot of fans, it’s safe to say that the hype is growing.

Last night things escalated to the point where Nick Jackson was attacked backstage by the Inner Circle, leaving him trapped under a garage door.

If this means that Jackson is ruled out of the upcoming Blood & Guts match, that could open the door for someone to replace him.

The most likely outcome will be that Jon Moxley is the one to enter into the match given his star power, and given the fact that he now holds the AEW World Championship.

On the flip side, it also makes a lot of sense for Dustin Rhodes to step in and go against the faction that has caused him a whole lot of pain over the last few months.
