Welcome to Ringside News’ coverage of WWE SmackDown Live. Please keep refreshing throughout the show for constant updates once it kicks off at 8:00 PM EST.

WWE is bringing the final Friday Night SmackDown of the decade to Fox tonight. It should be an eventful broadcast even though we only know about two things that will take place.

Daniel Bryan vs King Corbin vs The Miz is slated for tonight. This will be a #1 contender’s match to see who faces The Fiend at the Royal Rumble.

Lacey Evans will also be a guest on A Moment Of Bliss. That will mark Bliss’ first talk show segment since WWE moved the blue brand to Fox.

Opening Segment

Elias started off the show this week by playing his guitar and leading in a singalong. He took a dig at Bayley’s hair and Shane McMahon. He was talking about 2020 and what’s to come. Then he did a musical rundown of the show to come. It was pretty good and Elias is a true entertainer and very good at remembering lyrics. Let’s see if that keeps people glued to their televisions.

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz vs King Corbin

Before the match started, Corbin got promo time to call Bryan and Miz bad fathers. Corbin said he already beat Reigns so he should be #1 contender. Then Roman Reigns showed up and knocked Corbin off his elevated sedan throne. He beat Corbin around the ring and King Corbin ran away through the crowd.

Baron Corbin was then shown backstage arguing with Adam Pearce about “who’s running shop around here?!” He was upset and the #1 contender match was postponed.

The New Day & Braun Strowman vs Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura & Sami Zayn

Jessika Carr was the referee in this match. The heels took a beating from Kofi, but then they turned it around on him. Zayn took the tag and he hammered down some punches on Kofi and sent him out of the ring.

Then Cesaro sent Kofi flying over the announce table which sent him into Graves’ lap.

Corbin was interviewed backstage and said “that was justice.” He said to save their questions for Reigns because he’s the reason that Corbin wasn’t in the match. Reigns makes this an unsafe work environment.

Then Kayla Braxton informed Corbin that Reigns has already been ejected from the building. Corbin decided to re-insert himself into the triple threat match. Miz and Bryan left the ring and they ended up brawling in the Gorilla Position.

The triple threat match will happen in the main event.
