Lacey Evans started out as a heel on WWE television, but she is now a babyface. This babyface turn came with several classic good girl attributes like patriotism and family. Now she wants to be champ.

While speaking to CBS Local New York, Lacey Evans revealed her goals for 2020. She wants to hold championship gold by the time the year is up. At this point she is on the right track in her feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Probably to become champ and get more opportunities to use my platform to show people what you’re capable of, no matter how hard your life is. I know sometimes things hurt really bad and I know there are a lot of bad things that are happening, and you feel so down and out on yourself. But trust me when I tell you, coming from where I come from and what I’ve been through, you are capable of anything. If I have to become a champion to tell the world that they are capable of anything, as long as they continue to fight, make a plan, and push forward, then that’s what I want to do. That is my goal.

Lacey Evans got off to a good start at the Royal Rumble this year with a full entrance in Phoenix. She lasted quite a long time as well.

Let’s see if Evans can repeat her Royal Rumble performance this year and possibly win. She might also be in line for a straight-up title match on January 26th.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
