Stephanie McMahon did not compete at WWE’s first-ever all-female pay-per-view, but she was there. 2019 did not see a repeat of a women’s exclusive event, nor did we see another Mae Young Classic to close out the decade.

While speaking to Talk Sport, Stephanie McMahon said that they are “pushing for” another Evolution event. There isn’t any official word on when that might actually come to fruition.

“It is certainly something that we are pushing for. There’s no official announcement just yet and yes, there was a balls in the air and wheels in motion in terms of this year and, of course, one of the big focuses was on our event in Saudi Arabia and having our women being allowed to perform. I’m hopeful to have an announcement on an Evolution 2, but there is nothing official to announce just yet.”

NXT held an all-female event in Jacksonville, Florida on December 5th. It was a house show, but it was more than the main roster received this year. Let’s see if 2020 might bring another Evolution pay-per-view and if Ronda Rousey will be around to participate.
