Kofi Kingston just signed a new five-year contract with WWE. This made a lot of fans happy, but Kingston will be keeping up with WWE’s crazy schedule for the next half decade.

On New Day: Feel The Power, Kofi Kingston revealed that they’re friends with a lot of professional athletes. When they hear about how demanding WWE Superstars’ schedules are it blows their minds. There’s no way you could get a professional football player to have a game the day he travels.

“We’re friends with a lot of people who are professional athletes, too, and when we tell them about our schedules, and we talk about how we’ll get off a plane and have a show that same night. If you were to tell an NFL player to get off the plane, go play a game… ‘I’m not doing that.’ You know what I mean? It’s unconscionable. Its unconscionable,”

WWE puts a lot of work on their Superstars that some fans might not realize. We’ll have to see what WWE has in store for Kofi Kingston in the next five years. It’s likely that he will be continuing at a pretty demanding pace until 2024.
