WWE has a lot of choices about what content they want to share with the WWE Universe. For some reason Tribute To The Troops won’t be seen this year. Nobody will see it except for the 2,000 fans who were there to watch the show live.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there was some confusion regarding WWE and USA Network’s decision not to air Tribute To The Troops. USA Network passed on it, but WWE isn’t even airing it on their Network when they could.

It was further noted that the confusion about this decision extends even further because the company plans on holding more “higher profile events” in the future.

I’m not sure why, but the plan is for more and higher profile events like this down the line so it isn’t as if they were giving up the concept.

We will likely see plenty of special WWE events airing in some form or fashion in the future. They obviously made the decision for some reason not to air Tribute To The Troops this year.
