AEW has a roster full of potential and it appears that a big turn could be coming for one of their top babyfaces.

Dave Meltzer put a focus on some of AEW’s storytelling techniques during Wrestling Observer Radio. The signs point toward a possible heel turn for Adam “Hangman” Page and the seeds could already be planted.

“So the whole story of this is Kenny Omega and Hangman Page did a bunch of small, subtle stuff. Kenny had the match won and Page tagged himself in and stole the pin, but Kenny wasn’t upset about it, but he was perplexed about it. Then Kenny went to hug him, it was really subtle and Page kinda backed off.”

Kenny Omega tried to do a high ten with Page earlier in the match, but that was declined as well. Page has already left The Elite. It will be interesting to see where Hangman’s character goes from here, but he might be getting over as a dastardly heel soon enough.
