Disco Inferno is a rather controversial figure in pro wrestling. He recently caused quite a stir with Mia Yim’s fans by implying that she doesn’t need to be in her current role. This started a bit of a war between two camps of fandoms within the IWC.

Someone suggested that Mia Yim apologize to Disco Inferno, but she said “no.” Then another fan replied back to a tweet featuring this conversation saying: “People will pay to see Mia Yim. No one has ever paid a dime to see Disco Inferno…….ever! He’s a joke and embarrassment to wrestling. Thats why you never held a title for anyone. Ever. How you ever got a job with any promotion is beyond comprehension.”

Chris Jericho saw this tweet and he took great exception to it. He fired off a reply that not only took care of his fan’s opinion, but he also put over Disco Inferno in the process.

“Totally not true jerkoff. @TheRealDisco was great at what he did and I LOVED working with him. So shut your ass and eff off.”

Chris Jericho wasn’t even mentioned in this tweet which makes it interesting that it caught his attention. He obviously wanted to make sure that Disco Inferno wasn’t buried in this respect so he took action.
