WWE released The Ascension, Luke Harper, and Sin Cara today. Sometimes when someone is let go it’s a sad occasion, but that doesn’t seem to be the case right now.

Fightful Select reports that the overall feeling they’ve received is that people are relieved for everyone who was released. Luke Harper and Sin Cara both asked for their WWE releases so they obviously wanted to leave.

The Ascension were never used, but they didn’t ask for their releases either. They still haven’t been used since WrestleMania week.

In asking around backstage about Luke Harper, Viktor, Konnor and Sin Cara all getting released from the company, the feeling was that of relief for them. One person on the roster said that they believe that all had asked for it, so they were happy for the quartet of wrestlers.

We’ll have to see who might be next to get a release from the company. It didn’t seem to be very bad news at all for the four releases that were handed down today.
