Kenny Omega Comments On Who Would Cut The Best Unscripted Promo In WWE

WWE Superstars get a lot of time on the microphone. But they are given strict lines to memorize that they must recite in their own voice. Some Superstars are given a little bit more leeway than others, but generally the rule is to stick to what’s written on the page because it was approved by Vince McMahon.

Wale tweeted out a question about WWE promos. The famous rapper wanted to know who would cut the best promo in WWE if they didn’t have a script.

“If there was no scripts in WWE who u think would have the best promos?”

Dave Meltzer replied back saying: “No idea. I’ve been told Xavier Woods.” Undoubtedly, Xavier Woods would be a great promo if left to his own devices. Kenny Omega might like to disagree, or maybe he’s just kidding his friend Woods.

“He’s…ok..” The Cleaner replied.

There are a lot of Superstars in WWE that could probably cut a promo that was a better representation of their own character. At this rate it doesn’t seem like WWE is changing anything so we’ll probably never know.
