Rumor On Elias Returning To WWE SmackDown This Week

Elias has been out of action for a couple of months. He had an ankle injury that halted his run, but he’s been cleared since October. Now it is possible that he will be returning tonight.

Heel By Nature reports that a source saw Elias walking into SmackDown’s Birmingham venue along with The Revival and Michael Cole.

Since WWE is resetting things after Survivor Series, it makes sense that he could come back now. Elias wasn’t getting a lot of wins before his injury so possibly, he can change that.

This definitely piques our interest that fans might be walking with Elias again soon.

Update: Mike Johnson of PW Insider has confirmed this report to be true. Elias is backstage at Friday Night SmackDown.
