All Elite Wrestling hasn’t been on for two full months yet, but they have already changed a lot about pro wrestling. The pay level has certainly raised across the board, but the changes also apply to what is seen on television.

While speaking to The Herald Bulletin, The Young Bucks revealed that they aren’t ignoring fans. They remain in tune with social media and utilize it as much as possible. As Matt Jackson summed it up nicely, AEW wants to be different from other companies.

“You can’t ignore that stuff in wrestling, you have to go with it. We want to be different than other wrestling companies. We want to listen to our audience and give them what they actually want.”

AEW is making a concerted effort to determine what their fans want to see. They realize that you can’t play to an audience of one to create a successful show. Perhaps in time that will be the practice across the board, but AEW is certainly trailblazing into some interesting territory.
