WWE is paying their Superstars more than they ever have in the past. The added competitive marketplace has made pro wrestling very lucrative for WWE’s top Superstars like Braun Strowman and AJ Styles.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it is believed that Braun Strowman signed a four year deal worth $1.2 million per year. This is noteworthy because it is higher than what was previously thought of as the top downside guarantee which is $1 million.

It was noted that AJ Styles made “significantly more” with his new deal due to the added competition from AEW. Others just really know how to negotiate.

There are others who just because they knew how to negotiate, the company knew they could go elsewhere and make money, and the company feels were valuable that have guarantees above the $1 million threshold.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson also signed great deals at $700,000 per year for five years. The Good Brothers had previously turned down $500,000 per year deals and were thought to be on their way out of the company.
