WWE’s Hall Of Fame ceremony usually takes place a day or two before WrestleMania, but it looks like we already know one name that will be called that night.

Brad Shepard revealed one name expected to go into the Legacy Wing at his new Oh, You Didn’t Know Patreon where he is posting lots of his new exclusive content. Apparently, Orville Brown will make the cut in 2020.

According to a source in WWE, Orville Brown is currently scheduled to be inducted into WWE’s Legacy wing, as part of the class of 2020 Hall of Fame.

I’m told he’s not only the first Legacy inductee to be chosen this early, but Vince McMahon didn’t realize he wasn’t already inducted.

Brown sadly passed away in 1972, but he was recognized as the first-ever NWA World Heavyweight Champion in 1948. His name really does have a ton of history behind it as his twenty-year career spanned thousands of miles and plenty of injuries.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
