WWE Title Match Confirmed For Extreme Rules

WWE Extreme Rules is WWE’s next pay-per-view event on July 14th. Now we know who will be battling for the WWE Championship on that big night in Philly.

Kofi Kingston was able to leap over Dolph Ziggler and win his cage match at WWE Stomping Grounds to retain his WWE Title. The next night on RAW, Samoa Joe showed up and took Kofi Kingston out in a big way with a brutal attack.

Cathy Kelley announced on WWE’s social media platforms that Samoa Joe vs Kofi Kingston will happen at Extreme Rules for the WWE Title. Joe is a RAW Superstar so this is yet another instance of the Wild Card Rule resulting in a title match.

Then Dolph Ziggler showed up and he wasn’t happy at all about this. Seeing how Ziggler is still around, you never know if he might find a way to get himself in the match. He said that it’s not over yet even though he doesn’t know how many chances he will get.

Then Ziggler thanked Kelley for the breaking news before leaving.
