Money In The Bank was a very exciting night and certainly included an unpredictable finish. Brock Lesnar is now the Beast In The Bank, but that Money In The Bank contract almost went to Ali.
The former Heart Of 205 Live fired back at Brock Lesnar recently and Randy Orton seems to be on his side. Then again, RKO might still have a vendetta against Lesnar for shoot busting him open at SummerSlam in 2016.
Joe Peisich said on the Barnburner Radio Network that despite getting his MITB dreams snatched away from him, WWE still has big plans for Ali.
“Ali is still gonna get a big, big push in WWE despite losing in Money In The Bank.”
The moment before Brock Lesnar came out to interrupt the Money In The Bank match Ali was touching the briefcase. Ali could feel things changing and then everything took a drastic turn. Fans were behind him and it seems like WWE noticed because his push could still be on the way.
