WWE Changes Mustafa Ali’s Name

WWE is known to change up their Superstars’ names from time to time. They will often drop a first or last name to make things sound stronger. It looks like that is what happened to Mustafa Ali.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Mustafa Ali is no more. Instead, he will now be known only as “Ali.”

Ali has made the alterations on his Twitter to reflect these changes as well. Now Ali’s official bio on WWE’s website only refers to him as “Ali” and “Mustafa” is nowhere in sight.

Fans might know him as Mustafa Ali for a long time to come, but he now joins the ranks of Cesaro, Rusev, Sheamus, Big E, and many more who experienced a name change in WWE after the audience already knew them as something else.
