2019 will be a very interesting time in the professional wrestling world. There could be a lot of stars signing new contracts. However, we can confirm that if Kenny Omega is getting a deal from WWE those figures have been drastically inflated.
Kenny Omega’s current NJPW contract is set to be up at the end of January. This is why such attention is being called to his status. WWE could have reasonable interest as well and even Seth Rollins commented saying he would love to have match with The Cleaner.
A rumor has been making the rounds that Kenny Omega was offered $3.5 million for his services by WWE. We asked around and it was confirmed that this is very unlikely.
“I think offer is possible but amount isnt even the ballpark of accurate”
The only reason we are addressing such a rumor is because people have been asking us about it. It’s not impossible to imagine Kenny Omega in WWE, but it’s not coming with that kind of price tag.
On that note, a majority of Superstars in WWE don’t make $3.5 million as a downside guarantee. It’s hard to believe that Omega could walk into WWE making more money than other more-established names.
