WWE Raw aired from Manchester this week and although it was a pre-taped show, it was still full of newsworthy moments. The end of the night saw Drew McIntyre submitting Kurt Angle to his own ankle lock in a pretty brutal show of force.
But after the cameras started rolling this week, one reader who was in attendance sent word to us that the action continued.
Dolph Ziggler ran down helped Drew in a double-team assault on Kurt Angle until Braun Strowman ran down to make the save. Dolph and Drew didn’t want those hands, so they took off.
The crowd was sent home happy as Strowman rescued Angle. It was told to us that Braun Strowman is super popular with the UK fanbase so this was a very good way to close out their first night of television tapings in Manchester.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
