Chris Jericho was once thought to never wrestle in the USA unless it was for WWE out of respect for Vince McMahon but apparently that mindset has changed. After appearing at All In, he started the ball rolling on non-WWE events in the USA and now it appears that he could be doing even more work of that kind.
Joe Peisich said on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that he’s not only heard Jericho is likely to show up at Bound For Glory, but his working relationship with Impact Wrestling could go even further than that.

“From what I hear Chris Jericho and [Impact Wrestling] are in last-minute negotiations to not only appearing at Impact Wrestling at Bound For Glory but also to be appearing going forward for at least 2 or 3 shows. That can fall apart, it could not. Remember Jericho just appeared in Japan. Jericho has that Wrestling Cruise on October 27th so he could do something with that Impact Wrestling event and continue it on that Wrestling Cruise.”

It looks like we’ll just have to tune into Bound For Glory to see if Jericho really shows up. But if you’re busy and can’t watch the event, you can always tune into Ringside News and we’ll keep you updated on if he shows up to surprise Impact Wrestling fans this Sunday.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
