Following RAW last week, one of the biggest talking points was the Bella Twins and Natalya vs. The Riott Squad match as Liv Morgan suffered a concussion at the hands of Brie Bella. This week builds from that.
A few weeks ago on RAW, RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey sought to hold an open challenge for her Championship to further build the prestige of the title. Ruby Riott came out to accept the challenge, but the subsequent series of events led to the match not happening.
Riott would have to then take on Rousey’s allies the following week on RAW. This meant she couldn’t face off against the Champion. This week coming, however, it seems Riott will finally have her chance as she goes one-on-one with Rousey in a non-title match.
Plans often change fast, but a recent tweet by Riott confirms that this match is indeed taking place this week, ahead of the WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia on October 6.

RAW will be live from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on October 1. At Super Show-Down later that week, Rousey will team with The Bella Twins against The Riott Squad while the company is in Australia. It is unknown at this time if Morgan will be unable to compete in the match, though RAW should clarify that tomorrow.
