Famous Movie Personality Reportedly Turns Down RAW Hosting Gig

During the latest PWInsider Q&A session, Mike Johnson revealed that WWE put out an offer at one time to have Freddy Kruger (Robert Englund) as one of the special hosts for RAW. Englund apparently turned down the offer. It remains unknown exactly why he turned the deal down.

“I do know that at one point, Robert Englund, most famous as Freddy Kruger and Willie from “V”, had been invited to host but turned it down. Englund had an autobiography coming out at the time. No idea why the appearance didn’t happen.”
