It seems WWE has a new trio of heels with a vision of taking babyfaces down. They are also pretty good at rallying the troops in general in unionizing the entire heel section of the roster to fight for them as well which is pretty cool.
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre were already a team, but bringing Braun Strowman in was a very big special piece to the puzzle they needed. Now they are battling The Shield and they have a name to go with their first feud.
The new heel trio is calling themselves the Dogs Of War because they are fighting the Hounds Of Justice… clever, right? Michael Cole kept saying it on commentary as well which means that’s likely something WWE is trying to push out there.
Only time will tell how long it lasts or how long Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre will even remain a trio. But for now it seems they’re using the name The Dogs Of War. Dolph and Drew are still the Raw Tag Team Champions as well, so that helps things for them.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
