You never know what can happen in WWE and it looks like Hell In A Cell will be even more interesting. On the 20 year anniversary of Mick Foley’s historic HIAC match against The Undertaker, he is going to get a chance to re-live his Hell In A Cell memories.
Mick Foley interrupted Elias’ segment on Raw and he told Elias that he will be a Universal Champion. Then Foley went into a promo about what it was like to live that moment in Pittsburgh and Elias was there 20 years ago to watch it happen live.
Foley said he went to Stephanie McMahon’s office today and he told her that he wanted to be a part of the action once again. But he won’t be competing in a match or ringing a bell… or even announcing… he wants to be a referee.
So Foley will officiate the Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman Hell In A Cell match for the Universal Title. Only time will tell how it turns out or if Foley will end up taking an unnecessary bump. But something interesting is certainly going down.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
