The Shield made their return to the WWE Universe on Raw this week and people were happy to see them return unless you’re talking about Braun Strowman. The night was full of surprises, including a long segment with Triple H where he just hyped a match 2 months away against The Undertaker.

Joe Peisich from Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast said that Triple H’s promo on The Dead Man was actually meant to include a much different segment when it was first written.

“The segment where Triple H had his promo for October 5th, basically 6 weeks away, 8 weeks away was supposed to be given to Brock Lesnar.”

“So Vince McMahon during the day rewrote the script and put The Shield back. I heard that it’s not a one-time day and they will be part of WWE moving forward. Who are they going to take on?”

“Well Braun Strowman is number 1, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor. Balor Club. Look for a new member. Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, and another member, a new member to the Balor Club. I have even heard in November they might do another Superstar Shake-Up, just imagine AJ Styles coming over to Raw?”

There could be a lot of big plans on the way, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens because apparently, Vince McMahon can just change anything up on a whim.
