New Match Added to NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, to Air on NXT Next Week

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV is shaping up to be a terrific card this weekend, with the show being headlined by the rubber match in the story of Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano.

In what appeared to be a surprise to many, it was confirmed on the WWE Network edition of NXT last night that WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne would be taking on Zack Gibson with the Championship on the line at the event.

However, that match will reportedly air the following week on NXT TV. Furthermore, it is likely that the match will be the main event of that episode.

The card heading into NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV looks as follows:

• WWE NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane
• WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Era vs. Moustache Mountain
• WWE NXT North American Champion Adam Cole vs. Ricochet
• EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream
• WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano in a Last Man Standing match.

SPOILER ALERT

WWE have taped the first few episodes of the NXT UK show. During this show, Dunne faces off against Noam Dar to retain the WWE UK Championship. Since these episodes have yet to air or be made official, it is unlikely that Dunne drops the Championship to Gibson during their match.
