“Hangman” Adam Page has turned his career upside down in the past year and a half. Page has become one of the biggest stars in indie wrestling today thanks to his regular appearances on The Young Bucks’ hit YouTube Series “Being the Elite”.

In a recent interview with ESPN, the Hangman answered a very interesting question. When asked if he’d be going to the WWE anytime soon, Page said that he’s not interested in landing in the big leagues anytime soon.

Going to WWE doesn’t feel important to me anymore. It’s not something I’m interested in.  I really feel like in the past few years my goals have shifted from, ‘I want to accomplish X, Y, Z,’ to I want to make a good living for my family.

I want to have fun and I want to bring something new and fresh to fan’s eyes and have it be something they enjoy, no matter where it is, no matter what capacity. To have an outlet for creativity. That’s been my goal.

The recent boom of the indie wrestling scene has offered a diverse and a much wider platform for up and coming wrestlers. Page is one of the first newcomers to optimize these precious resources to obtain stardom.
