Bobby Roode is a former NXT Champion and his debut on the main roster was met with a ton of excitement. But aside from a short run as US Champion, Bobby Roode isn’t doing much.

Roode was moved to Raw and some people thought he could get a bigger role there, but that hasn’t happened either. Now it looks like he’s just a great worker used whenever they need him.

One fan asked Dave Meltzer: “Is Bobby Roode appearing on WWE Main Event indicative of anything other than a strong talent roster and no defined matchup for Extreme Rules?” After all, Roode isn’t featured on Extreme Rules nor has he received a proper spotlight in some time.

Dave Meltzer commented back saying that the fan had it exactly right. It just seems like the Extreme Rules card just doesn’t have enough room for The Glorious One, or maybe that could change. But at this time it doesn’t seem like they have anything for him to do.

Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
