Austin Aries just dropped his Impact World Title at Redemption but it looks like he didn’t have to wait long to get his top title back.

Austin Aries and Penta O M started out the latest set of Impact Wrestling tapings in a match for the Impact World Title and it ended in a double count-out twice. But after they each grabbed the microphone and said the match should have a winner, they finally found one.

Aries ended up pulling out the decisive win and reclaiming his Impact World Title. So it looks like he’s still the face of Impact Wrestling which makes us wonder why they did such a quick back-and-forth switch.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
