Cedric Alexander won a tough tournament to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion at WrestleMania 34. It went down during the kickoff show but that didn’t seem to bother him or Mustafa Ali because they were still wrestling on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Now it looks like Cedric’s first title defense is set as the final match for the Greatest Royal Rumble is now set in stone.

During 205 Live this week it was determined that Kalisto will be facing Cedric Alexander in Saudi Arabia on April 27th.

The former Lucha Dragon defeated everyone in a Gauntlet Match to win the chance to battle Cedric Alexander in Jeddah. So let’s see if Kalisto can become a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
