Alberto El Patron no-showed the Impact vs. Luch Underground main event on Friday night.

El Patron was scheduled to team with Pentagon Jr to face Austin Aries in Fenix in the main ever but Patron never showed up. The match was changed to a triple-threat that saw Aries vs. Pentagon Jr vs. Fenix instead. Nothing was made of El Patron’s absence and it wasn’t mentioned on the show.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that he saw Patron walking around New Orleans, so he is definitely in town.

“Alberto no-showed and we saw him last night and he’s suppose to main event against Austin Aries. Oh my god. Those poor guys. He’s suppose to main event the pay-per-view on April 22nd. I guess we are going to have to figure out what’s going to happen.”

“He was walking the streets, we saw him last night. How do you no-show when you’re in the city?”

For those speculating that he could be heading back to WWE, Dave Meltzer confirmed that he’s under contract with Impact and probably wouldn’t be allowed to just show up at WrestleMania.
