Speculation on When The Next WWE Draft Will Take Place

While it was being rumored earlier this year that the WWE Draft could possibly take place at the WWE Backlash event, that doesn’t appear to be necessarily true.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that he believes that next WWE Draft will take place sometime in April, presumably a week or two after WrestleMania on RAW and/or SmackDown.

“I don’t know but I was under the impression it was coming in April. Like a week or two after Mania. Wasn’t that the case last year? They had the Monday and Tuesday, after WrestleMania and wasn’t it the very next week? I’ve been hearing people talk about the draft, so I figured in the next month.”
