As previously reported, Mick Foley is not booked for Monday’s RAW 25th Anniversary show and will not be in New York city this coming week.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that the reason Foley won’t be appearing on the show is because Foley doesn’t believe it makes sense storyline-wise for him to attend the show considering the way he was written off WWE television. For those who forgot, Foley was fired by Stephanie McMahon and Triple H as the RAW General Manager.

Foley revealed in a recent interview that he was invited to the event but does not want to show up for a celebration with so little time having passed since his “firing.” Foley indicated that he would like to sell the firing for at least a full year before he’s brought back to WWE TV.
