WWE Creative Reportedly Pitches Idea for Daniel Bryan to Win The Royal Rumble

As previously reported, Daniel Bryan had huge shift in the betting odds over the past couple of days and is now one of the favorites now to win the men’s Royal Rumble match at next Sunday’s pay-per-view.

Bryan Alvarez indicated on the recent installment of Wrestling Observer Live that someone within WWE pitched the idea of having Daniel Bryan win the rumble. Word got out about the pitch among individuals that work for the company and they decided to place bets on him winning the match. This caused a huge shift in the betting odds in favor of Bryan winning.

As of this writing, Bryan is still not cleared to return to in-ring action, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out on television.
