They joke that Jarrett probably Google searched, “Indian Wrestlers dancing” and found a video of them. They both believe that having each other to lean on helped them during the many years that they struggled on the indies. Christian mentions that he and Edge had a similar bond, and that helped them throughout their career as well.
The Singh Brothers mention that they also trust each other which helps them become better in the ring. They don’t have to hold back with each other when being critical of each other’s performance, and that type of honesty allows them to improve on a nightly basis.
They inform that competing in the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic was a terrific experience for them, even though they were both eliminated in round one. Obviously their performances during the round one matches caught someone’s attention at WWE because they were called to work a few dark matches shortly thereafter.
They add that they were so accustomed to working on the indies that they weren’t prepared for a lot of the subtleties that are required for workers in NXT and WWE, such as working the hard camera. They admit to basically knowing nothing about the television side of the business before working for WWE.
