WWE SmackDown Live Highlights – December 5th, 2017

WWE heads to the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA for tonight’s episode of RAW. Here are the highlights from tonight’s show:

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens open’s tonight’s SmackDown Live. Owens talks about Shane McMahon using Randy Orton to try to end his career. Owens says Shane is using Orton to do his dirty work for him. Owens says he’s not afraid of Orton and he outsmarted Shane. Sami says they worked the system and won. Orton hits an RKO from outta nowhere on Owens while Sami was rambling. Shane comes out and announces Owens & Sami vs. Orton & a Partner of his choosing for Clash of the Champions in two weeks.

Shane also announced Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton for later tonight. Kevin Owens will be handcuffed to the ring post.

Backstage segment: Kevin Owens says he’s going to talk to Daniel Bryan about the match Shane made earlier.

Rusev & Aiden English vs. The New Day. Rusev reveals his “Happy Rusev Day” t-shirt before the match. Rusev picks up the win for his team.

Backstage interview with Mojo Rawley. He talks about turning his back on Zack Ryder last week.

WWE announces that Rusev & Aiden English have been added the the Tag Team Title match at the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions event. The match is now a Fatal 4-Way for the title.

Daniel Bryan changes the Women’s Championship match at Clash of Champions to a Lumberjack match.

Backstage segment with Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode & Baron Corbin.

The Bludgeon Brothers defeat two enhancement talents. Short match.

Bobby Roode defeats Baron Corbin when Ziggler hits the Zig-Zag on Roode. Ziggler also takes out Corbin.

Charlotte defeats Tamina via Figure 8 submission. After the match, Natalya cuts a promo but is interrupted by The Riott Squad. The women fight out the ringside while Charlotte makes her way up the ramp.

Backstage segment with Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan. Owens doesn’t want to be handcuffed to the ringside in the main event but Bryan insists.

Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn. Kevin Owens is handcuffed to the ring. Kevin Owens frees himself with bolt cutters but Orton takes him out. Orton gets the roll-up on Zayn for the win. After the match, Orton gets attacked by Nakamura makes the save. Orton hits an RKO on Sami Zayn. Orton & Nakamura shake hands. Orton gives an RKO to Owens as well. The two celebrate.

Shane McMahon announces that he’s the special guest referee in Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn’s WWE Clash of Champions match and if they lose, they will be fired from all of WWE.
