We reported back on November 3rd that WWE had parted away with Sawyer Fulton. Fulton made the announcement on Twitter with the following statement:

Dave Meltzer wrote about his departure in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and indicated that his release attributed an injury he had suffered that put his position in the company in jeopardy.

Meltzer mentioned that when the company brought Fulton in, he had to go through a few different gimmicks before he finally got a break in the Sanity group. He was basically a shoe-in for a main roster call up because he was being paired with Eric Young. Fulton ended up suffering an injury shortly after.

While Fulton was out with an injury, the company ended up giving his spot Killian Dain that that was basically the end for him. Once he returned to action after surgery, his position had been filled and the company had nothing for him so they released him from his contract.
