Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that talked between Rey Mysterio and Global Force Wrestling are dead for the time being.
The original idea was to try to bring in Mysterio to work a program with Alberto El Patron at the upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view event. Once negotiations between Mysterio and GFW fell through, the company decided to change the match to Jeff Jarrett vs. El Patron instead. Neither of those matches are likely to happen right now.
