While Vince McMahon announced on last Monday’s episode of RAW that a “Superstar Shakeup” will take place tonight and tomorrow night on RAW & SmackDown Live, there may be another draft taking place later this year.

Bryan Alvarez mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that the “Superstar Shakeup” was described to him as a “mid-season draft” and the company will have another official draft sometime this year. Alvarez said that WWE originally had plans for the draft to take place in June or July but those plans changed and it looks like it will be pushed for later in the year. Alvarez indicated that September-October would probably be ideal, as things start to fizzle down around that time.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding a second draft for 2017.
