Joker Sting Returns At AEW & NJPW Forbidden Door

Sting has been through a few famous incarnations. He was a surfer, and then a Crow, and he is also a Hall of Famer. During his time in TNA, Sting was also a Joker, but that makeup hasn’t been around for a long time, until tonight.

Sting caused a lot of attention at AEW & NJPW Forbidden Door in Toronto. As he made his way to the ring, fans saw that the Stinger was rocking his Joker paint.

Sting’s makeup was called out by the commentary team as well, since it’s the first time we’ve seen that makeup in years. Fans might have missed this look, and Sting gave them what they wanted at Forbidden Door.

Le Suzuki Gods, Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, & Minoru Suzuki, took on Sting, Darby Allin, & Tetsuya Naito during Forbidden Door. Each star received a nice ovation from the live fans, but Sting’s joker paint certainly brought back memories as well.

We will have to see if Sting starts alternating this Joker look back into his rotation of looks. If anything, we know that the Joker paint isn’t off the table anymore.
