As seen in the main event on Monday’s episode of RAW, Braun Strowman’s match with Kane never took placed because the referee never rang the bell. The segment ended with Braun slamming Kane through the ring as the show went off the air.

Dave Meltzer discussed this angle on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and mentioned that the reason WWE did this finish is so that they can build up to an actual match between the two at a later date. Meltzer believes the selling point for the match will be that the previous match never started. Meltzer speculated that the match will not take place at a pay-per-view event either and will probably just be a match on RAW.
