Drew McIntyre’s positive COVID-19 test brought a lot of information out of the woodwork. Ringside News exclusively reported that a SmackDown Superstar tested positive as well. WWE was not the only company struck by changes.

According to Fightful Select, RAW, SmackDown, AEW, and Impact Wrestling all had to change plans due to positive COVID-19 tests on their roster. They did not go into an further specifics other than plans were changed.

People set for Raw, Smackdown, AEW and IMPACT tapings were affected as a result.

It was not noted when those plans needed to be changed. The COVID-19 pandemic has been going on for almost a year in America now. Every company has seen positive test results that changed plans at this point.

There were also some within WWE who were surprised that they didn’t have as many positive COVID-19 test results. We just got through the Holiday season where many went to gatherings where they took a considerable risk.

Our thoughts are with everyone dealing with this terrible virus. COVID-19 is not going away without a lot of concerted effort. It will also take time.
