Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon created a wound on his forehead and covered it up with Vaseline before he came out for his in-ring segment with Kevin Owens. Meltzer explained that how the headbutt from Owens reopened the wound and he bled on television, which was partĀ also part of the plans for the segment.

In regards to what didn’t happen, Stephane McMahon was supposed to run out to the ring with a towel to clean up the blood as it gushed out of Vince’s head. That never happened on Tuesday night.
