The plan right now is for Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg for the WWE Universal Title to close this year’s WrestleMania, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

With Goldberg’s contract expiring at WrestleMania, this could very well be his last match for the company, so unless another deal is struck before the show, expect Goldberg to drop the title to Lesnar. The feeling is that if WWE wants to have Goldberg do another match, he will as long as they keep paying him what they are right now.

The plan has always been for Goldberg to drop the title to Lesnar at WrestleMania and that’s the reason why the company decided to book Goldberg incredibly strong against Lesnar at Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble event.
