Freddie Prinze Jr. has a great deal of knowledge and respect for the pro wrestling industry. The actor worked for WWE as a writer in exchange for stock options, which gave him an education on how the business works. Freddie has recently been kicking around the idea of starting his own promotion, and now that is starting to become a reality.

I think I want to start it as a two hour show. I want my storylines based in reality. I want to give the women and the men equal time on the roster. The pro wrestling industry is a crowded space. With AEW’s launch in 2019 and the existing Impact Wrestling already competing with WWE, finding talent could turn into a feeding frenzy. Freddie Prinze Jr. is hoping by offering union benefits, he can attract some of those wrestlers to his new company. Time will tell if he can find success in his new venture.
