WWE Stars Who Hooked Up With Celebrities

WWE superstars enjoy mainstream appeal, thanks to the global popularity and exposure of the sports and entertainment juggernaut. This is one of the many reasons celebrities love to appear on WWE shows, case in point: Logan Paul and Bad Bunny. Then there are superstars who have appeared on Hollywood shows and movies. The crossover between WWE and Hollywood has led to some WWE superstars hooking up with celebrities and vice versa. That being said, here are six WWE superstars who hooked up with celebrities.

MVP and Sherri Shepherd

MVP is one of the most respected people in the industry. The former United States Champion returned to WWE at the 2020 Royal Rumble. He was then paired with Bobby Lashley and used his managerial skills to turn the former WWE Champion into The Almighty that we know today.

MVP dated daytime talk show host Sherri Shepherd during his first stint with WWE. Their romance continued for some time, with The View co-host even appearing with MVP on an episode of SmackDown from 2009.

Brie Bella and Richie Kotzen

Brie Bella and Richie Kotzen were a thing before the WWE Hall of Famer fell for Daniel Bryan, whom you may know as Bryan Danielson in AEW. Kotzen is one of the best guitarists in the world. He played with legendary bands such as Poison and Mr. Big in the eighties.

Of course, Brie and Kotzen did not last, and both are content in their current relationships. Brie married Bryan Danielson on April 11, 2014. They welcomed their first child on May 9, 2017. Their second child was born in 2020.

Amy Schumer and Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler is a veteran of the WWE locker room. Ziggler joined WWE at the height of the Ruthless Aggression Era. He tagged with the Spirit Squad for a few months before pursuing a solo career. Ziggler is also a multi-time champion in WWE.

For those not in the know, Ziggler dated Amy Schumer for a while. The “Trainwreck” star has said on several occasions that their “love life” was too “athletic.” The two are still on good terms though, and continue to support each other in their professional endeavors.

Jeremy Piven and Kelly Kelly

Jeremy Piven hosted an episode of Monday Night RAW, which was a complete failure. The “Entourage” star was brought in as a guest host in August 2009. The crowd absolutely loathed the idea and they made their thoughts heard loud and clear.

Piven became involved with Kelly Kelly, who was with WWE at the time, after appearing on RAW for a night. Not much can be said about their romantic life, but the two did appear together at a New York Jets game.

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler was arguably the hottest female star during the Invasion Angle. The WCW diva was brought in as a manager of the Dudley Boyz in 2001. She worked several more years before partying ways with Vince McMahon to land a career in Hollywood.

There, she bumped into George Clooney, who was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars at the time. Clooney’s romance with Stacy Keibler did wonders for the former WWE star’s mainstream appeal. Sadly, the two called it quits after dating for two years.

Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga

David Otunga was the last participant to be eliminated from NXT season one. He soon joined other NXT participants in their quest for main roster domination. Off WWE TV, Otunga met Jennifer Hudson and the two got engaged.

The two even had a son together. Unfortunately, the partnership did not last long and they went their separate ways. Otunga quietly left WWE in 2018 to pursue a career in Hollywood. Most recently, he made a cameo in the first trailer of Marvel’s “She Hulk: Attorney At Law.”
